We fiinally visited the capital. We live here afterall.
FYI. The pictures are mostly of AT. Chris WAS there, he is just not as photogenic as AT.

To the right of me there were guys and gals doing demonstration things right in front of the Prez's casa. It was weird. Cops were blocking the streets and people were gawking at the demonstraters. It was weird.

CT's dad used to fly one of these in Vietnam. He was a helicopter pilot in the war and has some cool stories that he can share if you get him going. At the American History museum we learned that the Vietnam War was the most televised war in history and since then, becuase of all the drama, the televised wars and fighting have been regulated.

I used my iPhone to learn all about the monuments while we visited. Very handy.

Lincoln's speech.
